ISO 27001:2005 Certification and Implementation Project Print
DataSec has assissted, with its Meycor software tools and its consulting and training services, the prestigious Japanese company RICOH in obtaining the ISO 27001:2005 certification in nine of its branches. This standard defines the requirements for the implementation of an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS).

A world leader corporation like RICOH needs to protect its own information assets such as plans, strategies, related technology, as well as its clients and business partners’ information. Having this in mind RICOH wisely decided to carry on a global ISO 27001:2005 certification project in all its branches around the world related to an effective Information Security Management System implementation.

This project, which helps protect the company’s important information assets, has successfully concluded recently when British Standards Institute (BSI) certified nine RICOH’s branches in USA (Miami), Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, México and Uruguay. The implemented ISMS was supported by DataSec’s Meycor Software tools and its consulting and training services. DataSec congratulates and thanks RICOH for letting us be a part of such an important project.
