The Meycor COBIT Suite was successfully introduced to the attendees of the Corporate Governance & IT Governance Summit 2005 held on December 16th in Beijing, China.
This unprecedented conference organized by the IT Gov organization takes place against the background of the new requirement of compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley act for all Chinese companies in the US market by the year 2006.
Over 150 CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs and CMOs from renowned companies in the telecommunications, finance, and energy sectors attended the summit, which included participation of the People's Republic of China Ministry of Information Industry, the Banking Regulatory Commission, the Audit Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Finance, the Internal Auditing Department of the PRC's Bank, the National Information Center and the Customs General Administration.
